Your privacy is a core principle of Plume.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use the Plume desktop application ("Application").
1. Data Collection
Plume does not collect personal data. We do not track you, profile you, or analyze your behavior.
2. Notes and Content
All notes created in Plume belong exclusively to you.
Notes are stored:
- Locally on your device
- Optionally in your personal iCloud account if you enable the Premium backup feature
We do not have access to your notes and we do not send your note content to external servers.
3. Analytics and Tracking
Plume does not use analytics, tracking tools, or advertising SDKs. No usage data is collected or shared.
4. Payments
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.
5. Third-Party Services
If you enable iCloud backups, data is handled by Apple under their own terms and privacy policies. Plume does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics services.
6. Data Security
Your notes are protected by your device security and your Apple account. We do not maintain external databases containing user content.
7. GDPR (EEA/UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may apply. Plume does not collect or process personal data as a controller for its core functionality.
When you enable iCloud backups, Apple may process data to provide iCloud services. In that case, Apple acts as an independent controller for that processing, under Apple's own privacy policies.
If you contact us by email, we will process the information you provide (such as your email address and message content) solely to respond to you, based on our legitimate interests in providing support and improving the product. We do not use that information for marketing unless you explicitly ask us to.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of any support emails you have sent us by contacting hi@creach.agency.
8. Changes to This Policy
Plume is an evolving application. This Privacy Policy may be updated if the Application's behavior changes. Any updates will remain consistent with our commitment to user privacy.
